LEARNING AT IDLC
Daily Learning
We begin each day with Bible, diving into The Word and inviting the Holy Spirit into our day.
Daily learning consists of structured academic time that allows learners to work at their own pace. Learners work independently, in small groups, and with guided instruction to provide flexibility while creating opportunities for growth and accountability.
Exploration
In the afternoon, learners engage in Exploration – our unique, hands-on exploratory curriculum developed by IDLC and centered around various themes. Explorations are typically 4-6 weeks and culminate in a Showcase.
Showcase is an opportunity for learners to use creative freedom in demonstrating mastery over Exploration content. Showcases are open to parents, friends, and community members.
Annual Imago Dei Learning Community Children's Business Fair
Our biggest Showcase is our Annual Imago Dei Learning Community Children’s Business Fair wherein K-12 learners study financial literacy and entrepreneurship while developing their own businesses. Learners launch their businesses by bringing their product or service to market at the Fair that is open to the public.
